How Does Parking Badge Work?

ParkingBadge is a parking management software made for two types of consumers. It is for the property managers looking for efficiency for their business, and for the tenants, customers, and guests looking to find parking within a parking lot, parking garage, or other type of parking application.

Having to learn a new system may seem daunting  for most property managers who don’t have that much time on their hands. ParkingBadge understands that time is money. That is why every ParkingBadge client is guided by one of our experts through the onboarding process. Whether it is assisting a property manager set up lines and signs in their parking lots or walking them through the cloud-based software, our ParkingBadge experts go the extra mile to make parking management and parking enforcement as hassle-free as possible.

The setup and use would look something like this. First, management and our ParkingBadge experts would set up the platform with further integrations in order to keep all staff in the loop. Once the parking management platform and parking layout is set up, guests and tenants can register their cars through the online self registering and self-paying platform. This eliminates the need for physical permits and ends parking spot conflicts. ParkingBadge makes managing guests and their cars easier than ever in our cloud-based system. The software allows managers to see what guests have registered their vehicles, what vehicles have been blocked from the property,  what vehicles that have been inactive, etc. As guests use the property and its parking facilities, ParkingBadge’s parking software collects data and consolidates it into reports. These reports can then be used by the managers to either redesign or refinance their property based on the trends and revenue of the new parking solutions.

The risk-free nature of ParkingBadge makes it one of the only robust free parking software solutions to the modern-day struggles of parking management and parking enforcement. So, how does pricing work then? One of the best features of Parking Badge is that there are no setup costs for the property managers or owners. The only time ParkingBadge makes money is when the property owners make money. As the owners, one would receive 70% of all guest parking fees. In order to operate and manage the software ParkingBadge provides, ParkingBadge takes the other 30% of fees collected from guest parking.

Now 30% may seem like a lot; however, ParkingBadge provides a myriad of features to ensure it’s one of the most efficient and secure parking management solutions available.  These parking software features include but are not limited to covering ease of use and access, credit card fees and charges, updating the software frequently for information security, training for on-site staff, producing real-time reports made for profit maximization, etc.

On the consumer end of the platform, ParkingBadge is the most efficient use of time and money. Guests and tenants can register directly through the ParkingBadge parking management app. The process of registration and payment takes less than three minutes.

No need for waiting on permit approvals, finding cash or checks, or worrying about parking vacancies with the new features of the cloud based software. For example, online payments take nearly any form of payment including Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and AMEX. With regards to permits, residents are registered in the parking management app by car model, plate, and apartment number. Each resident will receive a virtual parking permit that will include their individual number and expiration date. And for those guests who know residents, tenants can also register their guests through their parking app portal. The tenant will then receive a text to confirm if they would like to approve the guest. Both parties will receive a text alert when the car is registered. For the matter of vacancies, ParkingBadge is working on new interactive maps. This would allow property managers to assign spots and residents to keep track of open spots.

ParkingBadge was made for its users. The ease of a cloud based software makes ParkingBadge an asset to any manager’s property and makes it an accessible amenity for guests and tenants.
